OK, I had a think about this, and I’ve gone with:
- a subcategory as a knowledge base
- only TL2+ people can post
- one topic per type (I’ve created 🍞 Toasters as an example)
- topics are wikis, so we (TL2+) can all edit them as we find new brands we like
- lower level users can view but not post, so we keep discussion here in Repairs
